I am Mahfuzur Rahman Maruf, born and raised in a middle-class family in Bangladesh. Growing up, my surroundings taught me how to work with limited resources and how to turn one learning into another.

During my school days, I became passionate about computers. I loved seeing how a simple, dull image could turn beautiful through Photoshop. It was fun for me, and day by day, I became more fascinated by technology.

In my university days, I was introduced to WordPress and basic HTML and CSS. During that time, one of my friends and I developed a web app where Bangladeshi students could easily get all their educational information, no matter their study level. Today, that project — Admissionwar — has become one of the most popular education portals in Bangladesh, helping thousands of students with admission news, result updates, and academic resources.

I completed my graduation and post-graduation in Government and Politics at Jahangirnagar University, one of the top public universities in Bangladesh. Through my bachelor’s and master’s degrees, I learned how public policy, law, and economics work — both in theory and practice through fieldwork and academic courses.
